Position Overview
- Establish a strong research program in experimental, theoretical, or computational physics.
- Mentor undergraduate and graduate students.
- Teach typically one 3-credit course per semester, with research-active faculty teaching a reduced load (1:1).
- Participate in outreach, community involvement, and service on department/college/university committees.
- Ph.D. in Physics or a closely related field by time of hire.
- Record of research activity in physics, demonstrated by peer-reviewed publications.
- Evidence of synergy with existing departmental or college research strengths.
