- Demonstrate excellence or clear potential for excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching
- Teach introductory courses in American politics
- Offer advanced undergraduate and Master’s-level courses in their specialization
- Contribute to departmental service, particularly in areas related to curriculum development and program support
- Maintain engagement in teaching and service sufficient for promotion within the professional track
- Ph.D. in Political Science (ABDs considered but must complete the degree by 09/01/2026)
- Experience teaching undergraduate and graduate-level Political Science courses
- Demonstrated experience teaching in American Politics
- Interest and experience in service, particularly in curriculum development and recruitment
- Commitment to sustained excellence in teaching and service
