- Supervise and coordinate a team of second-shift CNC machinists for quality and throughput.
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to produce precision components.
- Continuously monitor job performance and make adjustments to maintain production goals.
- Work with engineering to elevate processes and solve machining challenges.
- Mentor teammates in safe, efficient machining practices.
- Perform in-process inspections to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
- Uphold a clean, orderly, and safe work environment aligned with company policies.
Experience profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining preferred.
- 10 years of CNC machining experience.
- 3 years of offline programming (Mastercam exposure is a plus).
- Expertise in machining methods and choosing the right tooling for the job.
- Comfortable reading technical drawings and interpreting GD&T.
- Clear, steady leadership and strong communication; collaborative by nature.
- Detail-driven with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Well-versed in machining safety standards and procedures.
