As our Manufacturing Costing Engineer, you’ll estimate and plan CNC work for low-volume, high-precision parts across demanding materials and industries. Imagine This A customer sends an RFQ for a Titanium component with tight tolerances. You review the spec, map out CNC turning and milling operations, model the workholding, check GD&T, validate toolpaths in Mastercam, and price the job with confidence. Then you translate that plan into documentation and a clean hand-off to production—ready to deliver right the first time. What You'll Do Estimate total costs—labor, material, and services—for machining parts from forgings, castings, and super alloys (Monel, Inconel, Titanium, etc.).Interpret blueprints/specifications to select efficient manufacturing methods for CNC milling and turning (5-axis experience is a plus).Collaborate with product design to quote new products and fixtures; apply DFM principles to de-risk builds.Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and ERP routings; coordinate a successful project hand-off to production.Support opportunity negotiations and help close deals; analyze outcomes to identify cost reduction and process improvement opportunities. What Makes You a Fit CNC machining background (milling and turning); exposure to 5-axis appreciated.CAD/CAM proficiency—Mastercam and Solidworks—and strong 3D modeling ability.Blueprint reading expert with solid GD&T and shop math skills.Manufacturing experience including process development and product design.Comfort with documentation and basic data analysis; ERP familiarity.High School diploma or GED.Values-aligned: Be Authentic, Do the Right Thing, show Grit, and lead with Humility.
