Job Description:

We’re hiring an experienced CPA to join a well-established, highly respected tax and financial services firm in the [Ventura County / San Fernando Valley] area.

This role offers a rare opportunity to step into a leadership-track position, with built-in mentorship, hands-on client interaction, and clear long-term growth. You’ll work closely with the current firm principal—who is beginning to step back—to gradually take on more responsibility and help shape the future of the firm.

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns
• Communicate directly with clients to answer questions, offer guidance, and build trust
• Learn the firm's systems and approach with mentorship from the current CPA
• Collaborate with wealth managers, bookkeepers, and other client advisors
• Grow into a strategic leadership role over time

Ideal Candidate:

• CPA license
• 3–10 years of experience in tax preparation and advisory
• Excellent communicator who builds strong relationships with clients
• Comfortable with QuickBooks, Excel, and tax software (Lacerte preferred)
• Looking for a long-term opportunity with room to grow
