Tonganoxie Terrace is actively hiring a Staffing Coordinator to oversee employee scheduling and support daily staffing operations within our nursing department. The Staffing Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining appropriate nursing coverage, reducing overtime, and ensuring smooth clinical operations. Key Responsibilities
Create, manage, and maintain nursing staff schedules
Monitor staffing levels to ensure appropriate coverage
Track call-offs, attendance, and open shifts
Coordinate replacement staffing to minimize overtime and coverage gaps
Communicate schedule updates and changes to nursing staff and leadership
Maintain accurate staffing records and reports
Support daily staffing operations and on-call coordination
Assist leadership with staffing analysis and compliance documentation
Qualifications
Previous scheduling or staffing experience required
CNA / CMA or LPN experience required
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Experience in long-term care or healthcare staffing preferred
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
