- Maintains an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with an emphasis on providing
- Assists customers by making product suggestions. Makes intercom announcements.
- Engages in suggestive selling and other sales techniques via telephone, in-store intercom and
- Answers and responds to incoming calls appropriately. Receives and appropriately resolves
- Assists with planning daily operation and monitoring production process following company procedures and
- Trims, cuts, wraps, trays, displays and waters produce. Builds produce displays, rotates and discards outdated
- Implements effective promotional and seasonal displays. May be responsible for the operation and
- Ability to follow and maintain department standards and requirements such as Fresh Made and
- Monitor employees’ productivity and assist with evaluate their overall performance.
- Assists with scheduling employees to ensure adequate coverage and service levels.
- Specific knowledge of duties performed by all department employees; including but not limited to
- Working knowledge of company policies and guidelines as outlined in the Albertsons/Tom Thumb
- Responsible for insuring proper code dating for all products within the department are being enforced.
- Assists with physical inventory taken every 4 weeks.
- Assists with controlling inventory to ensure adequate product quantity, quality and freshness and
and organizes produce cooler.
- Controls shrink and cost.
- Implements correct product preparation techniques. Uses and operates related equipment such as pallet
- Performs receiving duties including breaking down loads, verifying orders using invoices, inspecting
guidelines and follows proper packaging techniques. Processes administrative paperwork and
maintains accurate department records.
- Assists with accurately completing, maintaining and monitor daily log sheet, Fresh Made Production
- Ensures that proper temperature levels for product are maintained.
Pay Transparency:
Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Candidates with unique qualifications may be considered for compensation above this range. Dependent on length of service, hours worked, any applicable collective bargaining agreement and/or Company policy, benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay*, PTO/Vacation pay*, paid holidays*, bereavement pay and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401(k) eligibility). Associates in this position may be eligible for a quarterly bonus, subject to Company bonus plans. Applications are accepted on an on-going basis.
