McLeod Software is searching for someone to help us build and maintain customer relationships while providing solutions pertaining to McLeod Software.
The Account Manager will play a key role in serving as the main point of contact for assigned customers, resolving support issues, identifying enhancement opportunities, managing open items, coordinating with internal teams, and continuously improving customer experience.
- Resolve customer issues accurately and on time
- Serve as the central point of contact for all account-related activities and updates
- Manage Help Desk and Support situations for assigned accounts
- Conduct proactive communication with customers regarding open support items
- Grow technical understanding and application knowledge
- Identify opportunities to improve customer business processes, training, and system enhancements
- Document each customer's system architecture and operational profile
- Communicate significant customer events or changes to leadership
- Provide backup support for fellow Account Managers
- Participate in billing reviews and assist with resolving billing disputes
- Train internal team members as needed
- Evaluate aging service requests and escalate when necessary
- Efficiently manage time and prioritize work independently
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing technical support to end users (hardware/software)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to assess business needs and system impacts effectively
- Knowledge of business accounting principles
- Experience in the transportation industry
