Branch Operations Manager

Tom Kraemer Inc. is seeking a hands-on Branch Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Carlton location. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys leading people, solving problems, improving operations, supporting fleet and equipment maintenance, and delivering elite customer service.

What You’ll Do

• Responsible for planning, dispatching and the effective completion of all work related to our Portable Storage operations to ensure we meet or exceed customer expectations while operating safely and efficiently.
• Oversees the maintenance and repair of all trucks, trailers and equipment, ensuring operational readiness and minimizing downtime while performing light-duty maintenance and repairs.
• Oversee and manage container yard operations.
• Recruits, hires, trains, develops and leads a team of employees to achieve desired performance standards.
• Supports sales and customer service by answering phones, taking service requests, providing information, and resolving potential issues with urgency and professionalism.
• Maintains a positive, rewarding and success driven work environment.
• Coordinates activities with all other functions of the organization to obtain optimum production and utilization of employees and equipment.
• Leads the continued growth and success of the Carlton branch by improving operations, building strong customer relationships and representing Tom Kraemer Inc. in the local community.

What We’re Looking For

• Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and hold people accountable (LMA) while building a positive, high-performing team.
• Proven commitment to workplace safety and maintaining a strong safety culture.
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Experience in performing light-duty mechanical repairs is strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written and digital communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Organization, coordination and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to create, implement and manage policies and procedures.
• Self-motivated, positive, professional and friendly.
• Minimally 3-5 years of experience as a manager or supervisor.
• Familiarity with CDL operations is preferred.
