Responsibilities
- Lead food preparation and cooking activities, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations

- Supervise kitchen staff, providing training on food handling, knife skills, and food safety protocols
- Oversee food safety practices in compliance with health regulations to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- Coordinate catering events and special meal services, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional quality
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor stock to minimize waste while maintaining freshness
- Maintain high standards of food industry best practices, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
Experience
- Proven culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining environments or upscale restaurants
- Extensive kitchen experience with expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation
- Prior dietary department or dietary aide experience is highly desirable for understanding special dietary requirements
- Skilled in menu planning with an eye for detail and creativity to enhance guest satisfaction
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of food service excellence
