About Us

Social Bird Kitchen & Bar is a lively neighborhood gastropub on Restaurant Row in Lafayette, CA, opened in 2019 by East Bay restaurateurs Esin and Curtis deCarion (Esin Restaurant & Bar, Revel Kitchen & Bar). We serve thoughtfully prepared sustainable American fare, craft cocktails, curated beers, and a carefully selected wine list inside an energetic dining room with a wraparound bar and three outdoor patios. We’re a team-first house where great hospitality, local ingredients, and genuine community matter.

Position: Server

We are looking for a polished, service-driven Server to join our team at an upscale gastropub known for elevated comfort food, craft cocktails, and exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, professional table service in a fast-paced, upscale environment
• Accurately take and place food and beverage orders
• Demonstrate solid knowledge of our cocktail, beer, and wine offerings
• Assist at the bar as needed based on operational requirements
• Maintain a refined, professional presence on the floor at all times
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless guest experiences

Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year of serving experience in an upscale or high-volume restaurant setting
• Must hold or be able to obtain a valid California food handler card within 30 days of hire
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
