Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide personalized service to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Serve food, beverages, cocktails, and spirits efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items including wine, cocktails, and specialty dishes to maximize sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions, process sales accurately, and manage POS systems with precision
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food handling, basic food preparation, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining environments
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Experience with cocktail mixing, spirits, wine knowledge, and beverage service techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and energetic attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently
- Basic math skills for cashiering and sales transaction processing
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in serving or host/hostess roles is a plus; hospitality background is highly valued
