Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Landscape Foreman to oversee crews for post-project landscaping jobs, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining high standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have extensive landscape/hardscape work experience, strong leadership skills, and a background in managing grounds maintenance and landscaping crews.
Duties
- Work with the quality assurance landscaping crew during the completion of outdoor projects, ensuring work aligns with quality standards and client expectations.
- Conduct thorough inspections of completed landscaping projects, including hardscape, lawn care, plantings, and grounds maintenance.
- Identify and diagnose issues related to landscaping work, warranty concerns, or customer dissatisfaction.
- Rectify problems by providing effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction and uphold company reputation.
- Operate grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist with grounds maintenance tasks such as lawn care and hardscape installation or repair when necessary.
- Identify various plant species accurately to support quality assessments and troubleshooting.
- Lead and manage landscaping crew on-site, fostering teamwork and ensuring safety compliance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or related outdoor work.
- Previous foreman or supervisory experience in landscaping projects is required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage crews effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to diagnose issues calmly and professionally.
- Knowledge of landscape equipment operation, hardscape techniques, lawn care practices, and plant identification.
- Ability to inspect completed work critically and ensure it meets quality standards.
- Calm temperament with problem-solving skills to address warranty issues or customer complaints efficiently.
