Job Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will implement strategies and processes to attract, proactively build, and maintain a quality talent pipeline. They are responsible for sourcing and interviewing prospective employees to find the perfect match for A1’s long-term goals.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Assess external labor market conditions, develops the most effective, economical, and appropriate sources/channels and methods to recruit talent in every market.
· Builds and maintains relationships with potential candidates, recruitment agencies, schools, and associations.
· Ensures candidate pipeline is sufficient to meet workforce needs and all sourcing and talent acquisition activities are consistent with organization’s policies and standards.
· Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, current and projected
· Continually review and assess selection criteria with hriirng managers to ensure it aligns with business needs
· Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)
· Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details, using our Applicant Tracking System
· Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews
· Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events
· Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates
· Some travel may be required.
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Ability to work autonomously.
· Ability to attract, evaluate, and refer candidates for open position.
· Ability to develop creative job advertisements and screen resumes/applications compared to the advertised minimum qualifications.
· Ability to negotiate salary and terms of employment with candidates.
· Ability to communicate goals in "solution" or project goal terms.
· Ability to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time.
· Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to equal employment opportunities and affirmative action compliance.
· Extensive knowledge of recruiting and sourcing best practices.
· Advanced knowledge of applicant tracking systems, HRMS, MS Office Suite, data analysis and project management software i.e. Monday.com, and other business systems.
Education and Experience:
· 8 years of experience working in talent acquisition and full-cycle recruiting, required
· Bachelors degree in Human Resources, or related field, preferred
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
Salary : $90,000
