Bilingual Staffing Assistant

TMC Staffing is seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Staffing Assistant to manage the front desk, handle a high volume of incoming phone calls, maintain employee files, and support recruiting efforts.

The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, communicates professionally, and can manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced staffing office. Previous staffing, recruiting, or administrative experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the front desk and serve as the first point of contact for applicants, employees, visitors, and clients.
• Answer, screen, and direct a high volume of incoming phone calls in both English and Spanish.
• Assist applicants with employment inquiries, applications, and onboarding paperwork.
• Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential employee personnel files.
• Support recruiting efforts, including contacting candidates, scheduling interviews, and following up with applicants.
• Assist with candidate communications, and recruiting documentation.
• Ensure employee records and onboarding documents are completed and filed accurately.
• Provide administrative support to the recruiting and operations teams.
• Maintain a professional, helpful, and service-oriented approach when interacting with employees and clients.
• Handle confidential employee information with discretion.

Qualifications

• Fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate professionally in speaking and writing. REQUIRED.
• Previous experience in staffing, recruiting, human resources, customer service, or administrative support preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience handling high-volume phone calls in a busy office environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
• Professional demeanor, reliability, and a strong customer-service mindset.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling employee records and personal information.
