We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead commissioning activities for hyperscale, enterprise, and colocation data center projects. This role serves as the primary client contact and is responsible for managing commissioning teams, project schedules, budgets, and overall project execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead commissioning projects from planning through final turnover.
- Manage client relationships and project expectations.
- Coordinate field engineers and commissioning activities.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, reporting, and resource allocation.
- Lead meetings with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Review and support testing of electrical, mechanical, controls, and life safety systems.
- Assist with proposals, change orders, forecasting, and project financials.
- Mentor commissioning engineers and support team development.
Requirements
- 5 years of mission-critical or data center commissioning experience.
- Experience leading commissioning projects and client-facing teams.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and commissioning processes.
- Experience with:
- UPS Systems
- Switchgear
- Generators
- ATS
- BMS / EPMS
- Chillers, CRAHs, CRACs, HVAC Systems
- Familiarity with ASHRAE commissioning guidelines.
- Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- PMP certification is a plus.
