About the Role
We are looking for a Shopify Frontend and UX Graphic Designer to own the visual experience and frontend execution of our Shopify storefronts. This role focuses on layout, usability, conversion, and brand consistency across desktop and mobile.
You will work closely with marketing, product, and operations to design and implement clean, high-performing ecommerce experiences.
Responsibilities
Shopify Frontend Development
- Build and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Implement sections, templates, and reusable components
- Optimize site performance, responsiveness, and accessibility
- Maintain and improve existing Shopify storefronts
UX and Conversion Design
- Design page layouts that prioritize clarity and conversion
- Improve navigation, product pages, and checkout experience
- Apply UX best practices for ecommerce and mobile-first design
- Collaborate on A B testing and iterative improvements
Graphic and Visual Design
- Create on-site graphics including banners, icons, badges, and visual elements
- Maintain consistent brand standards across all pages
- Support product launches, promotions, and seasonal updates
- Work from brand guidelines while improving visual hierarchy
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Shopify theme development
- Proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Solid understanding of ecommerce UX and conversion principles
- Ability to translate designs into live Shopify implementations
- Strong attention to detail and layout precision
Preferred Experience
- Experience with custom Shopify themes or theme extensions
- Familiarity with performance optimization and Core Web Vitals
- Graphic design experience using Figma, Photoshop, or Illustrator
- Experience designing for DTC or ecommerce brands
- Familiarity with analytics, heatmaps, or CRO tools
