Job Description
Within TKO, the communications team helps enhance the company’s reputation and build understanding of our strategy, performance, and priorities among key stakeholders including our fans, employees, athletes, partners, investors and members of the media.
What You’ll Do:
TKO is seeking full-time executive communications assistant to join our global sports and entertainment company. Ideal candidates will have proven experience balancing a varied workload, confidence in interacting with high-level executives, and the ability to manage a complex calendar. Experience in organizing a high volume of information and tasks is a must.
The executive communications assistant will exercise discretion and independent judgment, as well as the ability to interface and work with the most senior level business leaders and their teams, both internally and externally. The candidate should be able to anticipate problems and proactively identify solutions. The candidate will have the ability to effectively navigate media platforms, as well as expertly handle the shifting needs and demands of the clients, senior business leaders and their teams.
- Directly support and assist the Chief Communications Officer (including phone calls, scheduling, expense reporting, administrative duties, etc.); be anticipatory, proactive and hyper communicative on behalf of the CCO and the global communications team
- Coordinate and schedule meetings with company executives and other team members, anticipating changes in availability and making alternative plans in advance
- Answer phones with professionalism and screen call information for efficient routing
- Organize team meetings, including preparation of the agenda, organizing follow-up and related tasks
- Assist in researching and preparing materials including press releases, media briefings, fact sheets, award submissions, and other collateral
- Manage daily media monitoring and coverage reporting around corporate news and announcements
- Maintain media lists, speaker engagement calendars, and key corporate assets
- Organize travel arrangements including for international travel, inclusive of air, hotel, ground transportation and trip meeting itineraries
- Maintain contact information, ensuring accuracy and timely updates
- Participate in special projects as assigned
- Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
You Have These:
- Proven ability to remain trustworthy and discrete and operate with integrity
- Advanced Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred.
- Ideally 1-3 years of communications and/or administrative experience
- Interest in the business of sports and entertainment is a must
- Global mindset, experience operating across multiple time zones and remaining mindful of cultural sensitivities
- Highly organized and strong prioritization skills
- Ability to provide clear and concise oral and written communication tailored to various audiences
- Positive attitude, highly motivated, and able to easily build relationships across multiple functions and business units.
Salary : $25 - $30
