- Work Type: Full-time, Hybrid
- Schedule: 3 days remote, 2 days onsite (Mondays & Wednesdays; subject to change)
- Start Date: September 1, 2026
- End Date: August 31, 2027
- Contract Type: Contract
- Duration: ~2,008 hours
- Potential Renewals: Up to three (3) one-year extensions
- Bill Rate: $105–$108/hour
- Candidate Requirement: Must reside in Texas within 50 miles of Austin
- Interview Process: In-person only
- Lead cloud architecture design and engineering across Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.
- Support enterprise cloud initiatives, including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS implementations.
- Design and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks to ensure system availability and performance.
- Oversee cloud infrastructure supporting data platforms, AI/ML workloads, and analytics systems.
- Implement secure cloud architectures aligned with regulated environments (e.g., FedRAMP standards).
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless integration and operations.
- Support 24×7 production environments, including Tier 2/3 troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution.
- Design proactive alerting systems (e.g., Twilio-based notifications) for operational incidents such as ETL failures.
- Provide architectural guidance for data storage solutions, including Blob Storage, Data Lakes, and structured systems.
- Ensure implementation of identity and access management (IAM), least privilege principles, and secure networking.
- Drive operational excellence by maintaining platform stability, reliability, and performance.
- Communicate technical solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- 8 years of experience in the following areas:
- Multi-cloud platforms (Azure and GCP)
- Enterprise AI and GenAI platforms (e.g., Gemini, Vertex AI)
- Monitoring and logging frameworks (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, GCP Cloud Monitoring)
- Log ingestion and transformation using Logstash
- Alerting solutions using tools such as Twilio (SMS/voice notifications)
- Cloud storage solutions (Blob Storage, Data Lakes) supporting analytics workloads
- Data pipelines, enterprise data platforms, and analytics environments
- Informatica Cloud (IICS), Secure Agents, APIs, and integration patterns
- Cloud security practices including IAM, audit logging, network security, and compliance (FedRAMP or similar)
- Production support, including Tier 2/3 troubleshooting and issue resolution
- 3 years of experience with:
- Tableau Cloud implementation and management
- Integration with ArcGIS or geospatial data platforms
- Scripting and automation (Python, Bash, serverless, CI/CD pipelines)
- Containerization and orchestration (Docker, AKS, GKE)
- Microservices architecture and modern data frameworks (ETL/ELT, data mesh, APIs)
- Analytical problem-solving in high-pressure environments
- End-to-end ownership of platform stability and delivery
- 2 years of experience with:
- Translating technical concepts into business-friendly communication
- Leading cross-functional collaboration across engineering, data, and business teams
- Must be able to work in a regulated government environment with strict security and compliance requirements
- Subject to criminal background check in accordance with Texas law
- All deliverables will be considered “works made for hire” and property of company
