Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000
Job Description: Execute month-end close tasks across multiple entities (including but not limited to journal entries, adjustments, bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, AP/AR to GL reconciliations, payroll reconciliations, accrued leave reconciliation)

- Prepare and post journal entries including accruals, reclassifications, and adjusting entries
- Assist with WIP (work in progress) calculations and revenue recognition entries
- Support financial statement preparation and variance analysis
- Maintain compliance with internal close deadlines and documentation standards
- Collaborate with billing, payroll, and project management teams to ensure accurate cost accumulation
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data manipulation)
- Experience with full-cycle month-end close
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and problem-solve without constant direction
- Government contracting (GovCon) accounting experience
- Experience with Unanet, Deltek Costpoint, or similar GovCon ERP systems - Multi-entity accounting experience - Familiarity with FAR Part 31 cost principles and indirect rate structures
- San Antonio, TX preferred. Hawaii or Guam also available.
