Position Summary: Titan Echelon is seeking a detail-oriented Invoice & Accounting Support Specialist to provide administrative and accounting support to ensure accurate billing, financial recordkeeping, and compliance with government contracting requirements. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, eager to learn, and interested in building a career in defense industry finance and contract administration.
The role supports day-to-day invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and data entry processes under the supervision of experienced accounting professionals, while gaining exposure to FAR, DFARS, and DCAA requirements.

Invoicing & Billing
- Assist in preparing and submitting invoices for government and commercial contracts.
- Review supporting documentation (timesheets, expense reports, purchase orders) to ensure billing accuracy.
- Maintain billing schedules and monitor payment status.
- Support month-end close processes by reconciling billed and unbilled amounts.
Accounting Support
- Perform basic data entry and filing of accounting documents.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable tracking.
- Help reconcile bank statements, expense reports, and vendor invoices.
- Support the preparation of financial reports and audit documentation.
Compliance & Recordkeeping
- Ensure all billing and accounting activities comply with company policies and federal regulations (FAR/DFARS).
- Maintain organized and accurate financial files for audits and internal reviews.
- Protect sensitive information and adhere to company confidentiality and cybersecurity standards.
Administrative Support
- Provide general administrative assistance to the finance and contracts teams.
- Coordinate with project managers and HR to verify timesheets and labor charges.
- Assist in updating spreadsheets, reports, and internal tracking tools.
Qualifications/Skills/Education: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- No prior experience required; training will be provided.
- Experience in office administration, data entry, or customer service is a plus.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Willingness to learn federal contracting and accounting principles.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and discretion.
