ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES:
- Surveys market pricing and competitive programs to support team in creating pricing and programs for competitiveness and profitability of all lines
- Analyzes and implements pricing strategies to assist and drive sales and support marketing effort to achieve growth objectives
- Supports overseas development in negotiations with market information and pricing
- Data mines to identify and manage key drivers of sales and sales processes to improve performance
- Works with all departments to maintain data integrity and consistency to ensure accurate results
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree preference with degree in economics, math, computer science or statistics or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 – 3 years of work experience in an analytics-focused position
- Experience with data mining and statistical tools
- Experience with manipulating or creating large datasets across multiple data sources
- Math - mark-ups, mark downs, percent difference, gross profit, order of operations, and discounting
- Modeling - translating word problems into excel models
- Problem solving aptitude; must show methodical ability to break down a problem and move the problem to the next step
- NetSuite database knowledge - set up and how to query data
- Advance Excel capabilities
- Lookup functions, conditional formatting, sorting, filters, conditional mathematical operations (sumif, avergeif, countif, etc.)
- Boolean logic (if…then)
- Weighted average, min and max, averages, rounding,
- Advanced formatting (grouping, subtotals, pictures, wordart, text boxes, locking cells)
- Charts and graphs
- Pivot tables
- Database mathematical functions (dsum, dcount, etc.)
- Is functions (iserror, iseven, isnumber, etc.)
- Basic PowerPoint; create simple presentation using graphics, text boxes, basic formatting, and imported Excel tables
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
