At Tioga Downs, no two days are the same. You’ll play a vital role in protecting guests, supporting casino operations, and helping maintain the excitement and integrity of our gaming floor.
What You’ll Do
As a Casino Security Officer, you’ll be part of a professional team dedicated to safety, customer service, and operational excellence. Responsibilities include:
- Providing a visible and reassuring presence throughout the property
- Escorting and assisting guests and team members to ensure safety and protection
- Monitoring for suspicious activity and identifying potential safety hazards
- Coordinating emergency response efforts and communicating with outside agencies when needed
- Operating company vehicles and supporting secure transportation of company funds
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures of the gaming floor
- Delivering exceptional customer service to guests and fellow team members
- Maintaining awareness of safety procedures, regulations, and hazardous materials protocols
This is an active role that requires standing and walking for extended periods, along with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
What We’re Looking For
- High School Diploma or GED required
- NYS Security Guard License required (training provided for qualified candidates needing certification)
- Ability to obtain a NYS Gaming Commission License
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and professionalism
- Ability to remain calm and confident in high-pressure situations
Licensing fees are eligible for reimbursement after 90 days of employment.
