This leader will broaden the depth and breadth of knowledge of our current Quality employees while attracting new talent as the company continues to grow. An ability to gently correct employees and help them adhere to safety, quality, and processing standards is of high importance. Interacting with auditors, vendors, and senior management while clearly and professionally articulating the goals of the Quality Department will occur frequently. Knowledge of AS9100 standards and the ability to adapt to new and changing standards will be needed. Maintenance of equipment calibration records and processing practice records ensures employees have the equipment necessary to do an outstanding job. Creative problem solving to achieve customer needs and solve customer issues is paramount.
Primary Responsibilities
- Ensuring adherence to AS9100, JSTD, and ESD standards
- Management, updating, and creation of SOPs and Quality Metrics
- Responsible for overseeing work and training of a small team of Quality Inspectors
- Investigating and responding to customer Corrective Actions
- Interfacing with Auditors and responding to findings made during audits
- Issue RMAs and analyze the root causes and preventions thereof
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required, college degree preferred
- At least 4 years Quality Assurance experience
- At least 5 years in a leadership role
- Proficient Knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, JSTD, and ESD
- Familiarity with IAW and ISO17025 preferred
- Use of Microsoft 365 applications and ability to communicate technical data clearly in writing
- US Citizenship Required
Salary : $60,000 - $90,000
