Job Description:
As a Party Host, you’ll be responsible for leading and facilitating exciting, educational, and interactive STEAM-based activities during kids’ birthday parties. You'll work with children to guide them through hands-on experiments, crafts, and challenges that align with our mission of making learning fun! You’ll also engage with parents to ensure everyone has an enjoyable and stress-free experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate STEAM-Themed Party Activities: Lead kids in fun, hands-on STEAM projects and challenges, ensuring activities are both educational and engaging. Examples include building simple machines, creating art through science experiments, or solving puzzles together.
• Manage a Group of Kids: Oversee a group of children during the party, ensuring everyone is engaged and having fun while maintaining safety and a positive environment.
• Customer Service for Parents: Provide excellent customer service by being friendly, professional, and helpful when interacting with parents. Ensure they feel supported throughout the event.
• Set-Up & Clean-Up: Arrive on time to prepare for the party, setting up all necessary materials and ensuring everything runs smoothly. Afterward, assist with cleaning up the space to ensure it’s ready for the next event.
• Flexibility & Scheduling: Choose which parties you’d like to host based on availability. Work weekends only, with the ability to pick up as many or as few parties as your schedule allows.

Qualifications:

• Experience or interest in working with children in an educational or entertaining capacity
• Ability to engage and manage groups of kids, keeping them active and interested throughout the party
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both children and adults
• A passion for STEAM education and an enthusiastic approach to learning
• Must be able to handle light physical activity, such as setting up party spaces and leading active games
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively
• Ability to work independently and be flexible with scheduling
• No prior experience in hosting parties required, but a friendly, energetic, and engaging personality is a must!
• Must be able to pass a background check.
