Duties
- Supervise children during after school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Implement engaging activities that promote childhood development, including arts and crafts, sports, games, and educational projects
- Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management techniques and positive reinforcement strategies
- Assist with homework help, tutoring sessions, or educational activities tailored to individual student needs
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed diligently
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, camp, tutoring, or childcare is highly desirable but not required.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childhood development best practices
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and community partners
- Passion for nurturing children’s growth through creative play, education, and emotional support
