We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Automotive Title Clerk to join our dealership office team. This position is responsible for processing vehicle titles, registrations, and related documentation while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced dealership environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process vehicle titles, registrations, and tag work accurately and in a timely manner
- Prepare and submit title paperwork to the appropriate state agencies
- Verify that all vehicle sales documentation is complete and compliant before processing
- Maintain accurate records of titles, registrations, and related documentation
- Track title status and follow up on any outstanding title issues
- Communicate with sales staff, lenders, and customers regarding title requirements or missing documents
- Process payoff checks and lien releases as needed
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to vehicle titling and registration
- Maintain organized filing systems for deal jackets and title documents
- Provide administrative support to the accounting office as needed
- Other duties as assigned by management

Skills & Qualifications
