What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Counselor position at Timberlane Regional Middle School?
Timberlane Regional Middle School is looking for a compassionate, dedicated school counselor to assist in addressing the social and emotional well-being of our students. The school counselor's responsibilities include counseling students and addressing relevant issues in the school. The school counselor will work with students in one-on-one, small group, classroom, or school-wide sessions. To be successful in this position you should be dedicated to assisting our students, calm, compassionate, and caring.
Utilizing leadership, advocacy and collaboration, school counselors promote student success, provide preventative services and respond to identified student needs by implementing a comprehensive school counseling program that addresses academic, career, and personal/social development for all students.
Master's Degree required
NH DOE Certification in School Counselor 0040 or Statement of Eligibility in 0040 Required
Full-time school year position, salary and benefits per the Timberlane Teachers Association agreement
