Tiello has partnered with one of the nation's leading Commercial Masonry Contractors in the Atlanta, GA area on their search for a Preconstruction Manager to focus on work in the Commercial Masonry sector, overseeing a team to put together estimates ranging in value up to $40M.
Job Title: Preconstruction Manager (Commercial Masonry Construction)
Project Types: Schools, Financial Institutions, Healthcare, Retail, Restaurants, Office Buildings, Stadiums, Multifamily
Key Responsibilities:
- Review project plans, requirements, and specifications
- Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and material pricing
- Propose value engineering options to reduce project cost
- Determine costs of labor, material, and equipment
- Push the evolution of the construction documents as necessary
- Prepare conceptual estimates
- Meet and maintain bidding and work schedules
- Submit requisitions for the purchase of materials
- Compare competitive specialist and material
- Promote revenue growth by driving sales with new and existing clientele
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related is preferred.
- 5 years Estimating and selling projects for reputable General Contractors/Subcontractors
- Commercial Masonry Experience
