Job Title: Estimator (Multifamily Renovations)

Location: Cleveland, OH

Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000

Tiello has partnered with a highly reputable Multifamily General Contractor in the Cleveland, OH area on their search for an Estimator to focus on work in the Multifamily Renovation Sector, with experience managing/overseeing 3-5 projects ranging in value of $6M-$70M. This Multifamily General Contractor specializes in low income/affordable housing construction projects nationwide.

Role Summary:

As a Project Estimator, your main responsibility will be to compile estimates for the cost of work by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. Included in this will be the estimation of labor, material, equipment, and time requirements in order to compute the overall cost and duration of the project..

Multifamily Renovations (Low Income/Affordable Housing)

Job Title: Estimator (Multifamily Renovations) *Experience in low income/affordable housing projects is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Review blueprints
• Knowledge/Attention to detail
• Review project plans, requirements, and specifications
• Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and material pricing
• Propose value engineering options to reduce project cost
• Determine costs of labor, material, and equipment
• Push the evolution of the construction documents as necessary
• Prepare conceptual estimates
• Meet and maintain bidding and work schedules
• Submit requisitions for the purchase of materials
• Compare competitive specialist and material

Skills & Qualifications:

• At least one year of estimating experience on multifamily renovation construction projects ranging from $6M-$70M
• Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related is preferred.
• Must have experience reading blueprints
• Must have strong MS Excel experience
• Must have Procore software experience OR working knowledge of CRM software
• Multifamily Renovation Experience
