Job description:
Join a growing heavy civil construction company and help deliver accurate cost estimates for major infrastructure and construction projects.
What You'll Do:
- Prepare cost estimates from plans, specifications, and bid documents
- Perform quantity takeoffs for labour, materials, and equipment
- Review and analyze subcontractor and vendor quotes
- Support project teams with estimating expertise
- Assist with bid preparation and proposal development
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
Qualifications:
- 7 years of estimating experience in heavy civil/heavy construction
- Experience with highway and heavy construction takeoffs
- Strong communication, organisational, and analytical skills
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- HCSS Heavy Bid experience is a plus.
