Tiello has partnered with a highly successful Commercial Masonry Contractor in the Atlanta, GA area on their search for a Payroll Assistant to support smooth office operations.
The Payroll Assistant will oversee daily office operations, manage administrative tasks, and support company operations by maintaining office systems.
Title: Payroll Assistant (Commercial Construction Operations)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing
- Certified Payroll Reporting
- CCIP Payroll Reporting
- Assisting the HR Director with new hire onboarding and orientations
- Year-End Processing (W-2/1099) – Reviewing only
- Time Tracking Management
- Weekly Payroll Tax Payments
- Accounts Payable duties related to Per Diem and Allowances for employees
Skills & Qualifications:
- Must be bilingual - Spanish/English
- Minimum 3 years payroll admin experience in a construction setting (ideally with a general or subcontractor)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize to-dos, and maintain an organized office environment
- Proficiency in ensuring accuracy in documentation, financial transactions, and other administrative tasks
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with employees, clients, and vendors effectively
