Floor Care Technician (Temporary Project)

Pay: $25.00 per hour

We are seeking experienced Floor Care Technicians for a temporary commercial floor restoration project. This is a short-term opportunity for candidates with professional experience in stripping, waxing, and maintaining commercial floors.

Schedule

• Friday, August 14 (Evening/Night Shift)
• Saturday, August 15
• Sunday, August 16 (if needed)
• 6–8 hours per shift
• Estimated project duration: 2–3 days, depending on drying time.

Responsibilities

• Strip and remove existing floor finish
• Apply multiple coats of floor finish/wax
• Buff and polish floors
• Operate commercial floor care equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements

• Previous commercial floor care experience is required.
• Experience with floor stripping, waxing, and buffing.
• Ability to operate commercial floor machines and related equipment.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
• Available to work the scheduled shifts.

Project Details

Work will begin Friday evening with carpet work, floor stripping, and the first coat of floor finish. Additional coats and finishing work will continue on Saturday, with final touch-ups on Sunday if needed.

This position is intended for candidates with hands-on commercial floor care experience. Qualified team members may be considered for future commercial cleaning and floor care projects based on performance.
