Responsible for every day production and shift management Responsibilities of Position:Responsibilities of Position:Supervises,coordinates, and reviews the work of all assigned staff.Evaluates and makes recommendations regarding methods and procedures in assigned area.Acts as a liaison with other departments.Prepares written reports concerning assigned aspect of work.Manages day-to-day departmental operation, assigns people to the appropriate jobs,authorizes overtime and controls cost.Acts as a liaison with other departments.Performs any assignments given by Operations Manager.Must be capable of making sound decisions and set job priorities.Set machine and maintenance repair priorities.Assure good safety and housekeeping practices are being followed.Assure production requirements are met, including logging information as required.Perform daily audits.Responsible for employee training, developing, and evaluating performance.Discipline employees as required based on established policies and procedures.Hold regular shift meetings with employees Skill Requirements:Regular and predictable attendance.Strong professional and interpersonal skills.Ability to interact with co-workers,customers, vendors and visitors in a respectful and professional manner.Proven ability to work independently as well as multi-task.Strong organization skills.Proficient computer skills and abilities with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel,PowerPoint, etc).Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
