We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager to support various key operations for including month-end close, budgeting and forecast, reporting and analysis, and strategy. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have knowledge of GAAP, have strong communication skills and be highly organized.
RESPONSIBILITIES
● Perform month-end close tasks (journal entries, inventory analysis, event flash, etc.) in accordance with GAAP and SOX requirements
● Oversee financial statement management, budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis for product licensing.
● Drive results to improve profitability through variance analysis, cost control, and strategic planning
● Key strategic business partner to leadership team by advising on growth initiatives, margin pricing strategies, and ROI
● Lead annual budget process and long-range planning forecast
● Manage all aspects of the P&L by tracking revenue and costs
● Analyze key operational metrics
● Develop process improvements to streamline reporting, forecast, and licensing royalty reporting
● Supervisor of accounting coordinator
● Assist with ad hoc projects
QUALIFICATIONS
● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA or CPA a plus
● 8-10 years of experience in accounting or/and finance.
● Experience mentoring staff and leading cross-functional teams
● Advanced technical skills, including Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and data visualization tools
● Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
WORK ENVIRONMENT
● Must be willing to work during evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines
