- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- Previous laundry, housekeeping, environmental services, hospitality, or healthcare experience.
- Experience working in a senior living, healthcare, hotel, or institutional laundry setting.
- Familiarity with commercial laundry equipment and chemical handling procedures.
- Knowledge of basic laundry operations, linen handling, and infection control practices.
- Ability to safely operate washers, dryers, and related laundry equipment.
- Ability to organize, sort, fold, hang, and distribute linens and garments accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify damaged items or equipment concerns.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in laundry and storage areas.
- Ability to communicate professionally and work cooperatively with residents, families, visitors, and team members.
- Ability to manage workload efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Sort, wash, dry, fold, hang, and distribute linens, towels, garments, blankets, and resident personal clothing according to established procedures.
- Operate commercial washers, dryers, and laundry dispensing systems using proper settings, load sizes, chemicals, and safety practices.
- Maintain linen carts, storage areas, and supply levels to ensure adequate inventory throughout the community.
- Deliver clean linens and resident clothing to designated locations in a timely and organized manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of laundry areas, equipment, floors, carts, and workspaces.
- Follow infection control, universal precautions, and hazardous materials procedures during handling and processing of soiled linens and clothing.
- Monitor laundry equipment for proper operation and report malfunctions, maintenance concerns, or safety hazards promptly.
- Support resident dignity and confidentiality by properly handling personal belongings and resident-related items.
- Work cooperatively with nursing, housekeeping, environmental services, and other departments to support operational needs.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and applicable laws, including HIPAA and the Code of Conduct, completing required training and reporting concerns promptly.
