Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment with high possibility of extension in Pittsfield, MA. The ideal candidate will have strong Med Surg and Telemetry experience and be comfortable floating to multiple Medical Surgical units.
Position Details:
Specialty: Medical Surgical RN
Location: Pittsfield, MA
Shift Options: Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) or Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: 48 Hours Per Week
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend & Holidays as Needed
On-Call Requirement: None
Patient Ratio: Typically 1:6
Floating: Required to all Med Surg units
Multiple openings - Travel Buddies welcome as well
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of current Medical Surgical RN experience required
- Telemetry experience required
- Willingness to float required
- Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly preferred required)
- Active Massachusetts RN License required
- BLS (AHA) required
- ACLS (AHA) required
- NIHSS required
- Traveler must have reliable transportation
- Traveler must be 50 miles from facility (50 miles are counted as per Driver's License address)

- Strong Medical Surgical and Telemetry nursing skills
- Ability to recognize and respond to changes in patient condition
- Experience managing diverse patient populations in an acute care setting
- Strong critical thinking, assessment, and prioritization skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly to different units and patient assignments
- Experience providing patient and family education
- Strong documentation and organizational skills

Pay: $3,100.00 - $3,300.00 per hour
