Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER) – Evenings/Nights
Location: Pittsfield, MA
Start Date: August 24, 2026
Shift: Evenings/Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (3:00 PM Start Available)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Per Week
We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER) in Pittsfield, MA. This opportunity is ideal for experienced Emergency Department nurses who thrive in a high-volume acute care setting and are confident caring for both adult and pediatric emergency patients. The facility utilizes Cerner EMR and offers exposure to a wide variety of emergency cases in a fast-paced environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate emergency care to patients of all ages
- Triage and prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver critical interventions
- Monitor and document patient conditions accurately
- Administer medications and treatments per protocols
- Educate patients and families on discharge plans and follow-up care
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (AHA or ARC)
- Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Room experience
- Traveler must have own vehicle and provide permanent address
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in emergency nursing and trauma care
- Proficiency with Meditech Expanse preferred
- Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
