We are seeking an experienced OB/GYN Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Petoskey, Michigan. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN with strong Labor & Delivery and OB/GYN experience who is passionate about providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns in a collaborative clinical environment.

Position Overview
The OB/GYN Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to obstetric and gynecologic patients, including laboring mothers, postpartum patients, newborns, and gynecologic surgical patients. The RN collaborates with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, compassionate, and evidence-based patient care throughout the continuum of treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for Labor & Delivery, postpartum, and OB/GYN patients.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during labor.
- Perform newborn assessments and provide couplet care.
- Assist with labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care.
- Stabilize newborns and mothers when necessary.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Educate patients and families on postpartum and newborn care.
- Accurately document patient assessments and interventions.
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Respond promptly to obstetric emergencies while maintaining patient safety.
QualificationsRequired
- Active Michigan RN License
- Minimum 3 years of recent OB/GYN nursing experience
- Recent Labor & Delivery experience
- Experience with Couplet Care and Newborn Stabilization
- Current BLS (AHA)
- Current NRP Certification
- Current STABLE Certification
Preferred
- Pediatrics experience
- Previous Travel Nursing experience
- ACLS Certification

- 36 guaranteed hours per week
