Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Carrollton, GA. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging in day-to-day planning, analysis, and coordination tasks aimed at addressing regional needs. Specific responsibilities may include research and data analysis, preparation of reports, organizing and conducting meetings, and fostering collaboration among community and governmental stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Experience with regional planning, intergovernmental coordination, and community development
- Strong research, data analysis, and report-writing skills
- Ability to facilitate meetings and build collaborative partnerships with stakeholders
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Public Administration, or a related field is required
- Experience with GIS and data visualization tools is a plus
- Understanding of regional economic, social, and environmental issues is valuable
