Hospice On-call Nurse

Three Rivers Hospice is seeking a compassionate and dependable On-Call Nurse (LPN or RN) to join our dedicated team. This role is essential in providing after-hours support to patients and families, ensuring comfort, dignity, and high-quality care during critical moments.

This position offers a 7-on / 7-off schedule, providing a great work-life balance while allowing you to make a meaningful impact.

What You’ll Do:

• Respond to after-hours calls from patients, families, and facilities
• Provide in-home and facility-based nursing visits as needed
• Perform assessments and manage symptoms for hospice patients
• Offer emotional support and guidance to patients and families
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
• Document care accurately and timely

What We’re Looking For:

• Active LPN or RN license in Missouri
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
• Excellent communication and compassionate bedside manner
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
• Hospice or home health experience preferred (but not required)
