• Education and Experience:
  • Min of High School Diploma or GED
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy & physiology, legal aspects of health information, coding, indexing, etc; Preferrred but not required

Position Purpose:

The primary purpose of your job position is to assist in the day-to-day recording of medical or administrative information in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern medical records, and as may be required by the organization policy, to ensure that records are maintained in an informative, descriptive manner.
