Thoughtforms is hiring a Carpenter to support residential construction projects with a focus on high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. This role works closely with the Construction Supervisor and other trades to deliver projects that meet design, quality, and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform general and finish carpentry, including layout, framing support, trim, cabinetry, and installation of doors and windows
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to execute work accurately
- Support site operations and coordinate with subcontractors and other trades
- Identify and resolve issues related to safety, quality, schedule, and materials
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized job site
- Follow all safety procedures and building standards
- Experience as a carpenter in residential construction
- Knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and general construction practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic carpentry tools required
- Full-time, W-2 position
- On-site role (no remote work)
- Pay: $22.00 to $36.00 per hour (based on experience)
