What are the responsibilities and job description for the Carpenter position at A/Z Corp?
Position Summary: The Carpenters construct, repair or modify building systems to include metal framed partitions, doors/frame/hardware, drywall, flooring, ceiling systems, millwork, and concrete work.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Regular attendance at assigned location that may include office or other project sites
- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients
- Measure, cut, install metal studs, drywall, wood blocking, ceilings, flooring, formwork, and other materials
- Lifting and moving objects and construction materials intermittently or on a continuous basis
- Layout and construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, ceilings, and door systems.
- Help erect, level, and install building framework with the aid of rigging hardware and cranes
- Inspect and replace damaged framework, structures, or fixtures, with minor demolition

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Follow plans and instructions from supervisors or more experienced workers
- Strict adherence to all safety rules and quality
- Participate in site housekeeping
- Safely operate multiple types of power tools
- Interact with all co-workers and clients in an attentive courteous manner
- Perform additional duties as directed by Management
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
- At times may perform clerical/administrative duties
Educational & Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or relevant work experience
- 5 years of field experience
- OSHA 10 Certification

Salary : $30 - $38
