We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a bookkeeper. As the bookkeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our office and ensuring smooth functioning of administrative tasks. This is a key role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
-Full charge bookkeeping responsibilities in Quickbooks
-Assist with tax preparation and liaise with external accountants as needed
-Perform data entry tasks, including journal entries and account reconciliation
-Generate payroll weekly in Quickbooks
-Maintain accurate records and files in both electronic and physical formats
-Perform various administrative tasks including answering phones, handling correspondence, maintaining office supplies, coordinate meeting and appointments.
Experience:
-Proficiency in Quickbooks is required. Previous experience in office management or related roles preferred
-Prefer experience in the construction industry
-Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices. Familiarity with tax regulations and reporting requirements
-Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel)
