Sales position in Custom Counter-Top Company Available-
Sales Position available in a family-owned and operated company in Myrtle Beach for over 40 years. Our company continues to grow as the area does. We are willing to train the qualified person(s) capable of handling a high volume fast-paced work environment, with great sales tactics, and problem solving skills. The ideal candidate will be someone who can fit in a small office environment, but be able to focus and get the work done. Fast learners and Multi-taskers are encouraged to apply!!!
Each day involves answering phones, helping customers in various aspects of their projects, working with customers to discuss their needs, helping them pick out material, having them approve material, taking information, scheduling jobs, and ordering material, going outside multiple times a day, with customers, to locate and tag material, and show material. Overseeing large accounts (Big Box stores, Builders, Contractors etc.)- Updating notes between the office and the various portals, and contractors through portals or e-mail - Quoting jobs in QuickBooks (experience in QB is preferred but not required)- Data entry into operating program- Willing to learn all aspects of natural stone- Attention to detail is most important- This is a high paced environment where you must be able to multi-task, focus on many areas at one time and be able to pick up the pace when it is called for.- Background in construction, counter-tops or cabinetry helpful - Hours 9 am to 5pm Monday through Friday (Office opens at 8- 5:30) Office is also open ½ day Saturday and Sunday - with goal to have sales associates being able to volunteer to work 1 day of weekend a month when trained - not mandatory)- Pay will be based off of experience and/or performance. Willing to train qualified applicants starting in sales with advancements available.
Must have outgoing, up-beat and customer friendly personality with ability to multitask- jump in when needed and work in a fast paced and ever changing environment.
