What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Aide (FULL TIME 32-40/hours per week, days 6a-2p, $17-$19/hour) position at Thompson House Rehabilitation & Nursing Center?
Thompson House is a small, non-profit rehab/long-term care facility in Brattleboro with a family-like environment. We are looking for a FT dietary aide to join our team. Thompson House offers benefits and multiple bonus opportunities through the year.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents/patients in a healthcare setting
- Follow dietary restrictions and guidelines provided by healthcare professionals
- Ensure food is prepared and served in a safe and sanitary manner
- Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a clean dining area
- Provide excellent customer service to residents/patients
Skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Experience working in a hospital or nursing home setting is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with residents

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
