As a Front Office Host, you are responsible for the guest registration process and communication of hotel services and promotions. This highly visible role gives opportunity for casual conversation and has a direct impact on creating the guest experience. Other duties may include processing forms of payment and responding to guest inquires. You'll be the face of Thompson as a Front Office Host.

This is a nonexempt (hourly) role. The budgeted rate for this role is $22.00. This is the hourly rate for this position that Thompson Palm Springs reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual hourly rates will be based on a number of factors including experience, and education.

- Must be at least 21 years of age (required by California law to handle alcoholic beverages)
- Full availability, including possible overnights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality
- Strong communication skills and a natural ability to connect with guests and team members.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment
- Tech‑savvy and quick to learn property management systems
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- A strong communicator with excellent problem‑solving skills
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to teamwork
- Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to stand for extended periods
