As a Front Office Host, you are responsible for the guest registration process and communication of hotel services and promotions. This highly visible role gives opportunity for casual conversation and has a direct impact on creating the guest experience. Other duties may include processing forms of payment and responding to guest inquires. You'll be the face of Thompson as a Front Office Host.

This is a nonexempt (hourly) role. The budgeted rate for this role is $22.00. This is the hourly rate for this position that Thompson Palm Springs reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual hourly rates will be based on a number of factors including experience, and education.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age (required by California law to handle alcoholic beverages)
Full availability, including possible overnights, weekends, and holidays
Strong customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality
Strong communication skills and a natural ability to connect with guests and team members.
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment
Tech‑savvy and quick to learn property management systems
Professional appearance and demeanor
A strong communicator with excellent problem‑solving skills
Reliable, punctual, and committed to teamwork
Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred, but not required
Ability to stand for extended periods
