What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Service Supervisor position at Thibodaux Regional Health System?
Responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of kitchen and cafeteria workers, preparing and cooking foods for hospital patients, staff, and visitors.
Educational and/or Professional Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous Experience:
1. Extensive food services experience, preferably five years minimum in a professional setting. A two-year food service degree may substitute for work experience.
Other Special Training/Skills:
1. Knowledge of general diets and policies for quality control in food service.
2. Computer literate.
3. Numerical and clerical ability to calculate recipe and menu formulations.
